Amnesia

Computer Associates, a major software company, ran a series of humorous and surreal commercials in the early 2000s to promote their Brightstor data backup software line.

One well-known ad titled "Amnesia" was nominated for an Emmy in 2002 for "Outstanding Commercial". Other Brightstor ads like "Sector 12" were produced by the Y&R New York advertising agency. These spots had a similarly comedic and surreal style to showcase the benefits of Brightstor software.

The Brightstor commercials aimed to creatively and memorably advertise the data backup products in a way that stood out from competitors.
